Yeah, although he lives with my parents, I still also consider him my dog. Having one for ourselves would only be an option if we move from our apartment to a house with garden...
Welcome Mick!

Re: What are you thinking?
Three live with me but I live between two farms with barnsful of cats and I have the best porch in the neighborhood so they all congregate in the sun with me having morning coffee and I talk to them. Maybe 9 at a time. Most are feral but some come over for some petting and fish pate. I like most of them except the one pisser. It only takes one.

Re: What are you thinking?
As long as you don't have more than 5 in the house you are on the safe side. That being said, if you always walk around in a morning robe and scream at people passing by your house, you could still be a cat hoarder, just not a very good one.

Re: What are you thinking?
Correction, Luxembourg is a bit over 100 kms away, while the nearest soil of France is 130 kms away, and the normal border more like 175 kms .
It is actually still in the Netherlands, although the local accent over there is closer to Germany.

After adding a bunch of Slash interviews and updating with new quotes, I have started working on the concert archive again...I have come to July 1991.

Re: What are you thinking?
Yes! Finally finished adding the 1993 dates! Now the whole "pre-2000" or "old guns" database of concerts is complete. I will now start with the "nu-guns" dates, starting with the comeback in 2001.

I only see this now..
I guess you already went? Brussels is very close to me, so we could have met up.
What the hell? You were afraid that you're wife had cancer, but fortunately not? A bit unclear post from the end of august..

Re: What are you thinking?
Yes, it was a false alarm. Literally. But we got scared there for a few days. Too young, too young.
Yeah, I was in Brussels last week, but cut the trip short because I got a cold. Only had had an afternoon for myself.
I will be going to Berlin next week, and I will be there for a few days. Have you ever been there?

Re: What are you thinking?
Too bad you're already back from Brussels. Berlin is really cool! A lot more interesting then Brussels. I've spent 2 city trips there and you cannot get tired of the place. So much interesting places, buildings, monuments, museums, the wall, the art scene, the cheap as fuck restaurants from all cuisines in the world, the nightlife (although not much rock/metal oriented), the strange feeling of not being overly crowded, despite being a metropolis. I'm definitely coming back sometime next year.

Re: What are you thinking?
I've been there twice before myself and love Berlin. And they have Europe's best Caipirinha at Joe's pub at Potzdamer Platz. Well, used to at least, I don't know if that pub still exists. I'll be going to Hamburg later in November and might be back in Brussels in early January.

Re: What are you thinking?
OK. Pardon me. I should just Google it.
Aha! This is what Soulmonster does on his road trips. Does he also have white patent leather loafers and a pinky ring? Hmmmm.
Caipirinha (pronounced kie-purr-REEN-yah) roughly translates to "country bumpkin". It is made with cachaça, an intensely sweet Brazillian style of rum made from sugarcane juice. The Caipirinha is the national drink of Brazil, where it originated, and is a common Carnavale drink. Although it is more difficult to find, it's important to choose a premium cachaça for this cocktail in particular because the drink is not heavily flavored and a cheaper brand can ruin an otherwise perfect Caipirinha. You may also like the neater Caipirini.
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Total Time: 3 minutes
Yield: 1 Cocktail
Ingredients:
1 lime, quartered
2 tsp fine sugar
2 oz cachaca
Preparation:
Place the lime wedges and sugar into an old-fashioned glass.
Muddle well to create a paste.
Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Pour in the cachaca.
Stir well.
Note: Keep the sugar mixed in the drink by stirring often.

Re: What are you thinking?
Caipirinha is my favourite drink, very simple, a great combination of sweet and sour, and strong.
