The file with interviews got so large I had to split it.

Was picked out for an interrogation just now at the airport in Tel Aviv. Never experienced anything similar. Basically had to tell my whole life story and was asked again and again about details about my company. It probably went on for 40 minutes. It didn't help it was a 2 in the morning. I wonder why on earth I was picked. I usually float through security as if it was nothing.

Then Israel is a weird place. It has to be. Only a few weeks ago the iron dome had to shoot down missiles sent from Gaza towards Tel Aviv. Crazy.

Yeah, Israel is a weird place. but it's not (just) because it "has to defend itself"...

Yeah, I am entirely okay. The ordeal was more perplexing than anything. There was no risk of losing my flight. Currently in Amsterdam where my flight home has been cancelled and I have been booked onto new flights with two layovers before I get home. This is quickly becoming a very long day.

I was just going to check my phone when going to the bathroom... I guess my day started at 5:15 this Sunday.

While transcribing an interview with Brain just now he mentions Pete Scaturro. Just returned from my annual mountain hike. The weather was rough with rain and heavy clouds/fog limited visibility to just a few meters. My party did well, and although it was challenging we had no mishaps and people enjoyed the hike despite the conditions. Unfortunately a guy walking not far from us died from a falling rock and some other guys needed to be helped out. A dramatic day in the mountains.
