Thank you! It's all right, so far. I'm working from home. I hope you are well, too!denitza wrote:Hi girls and guys, how are you in this COVID-19 pandemic situation? I hope you all are well and taking care of yourself.

All well here. Home office and home schooling for the kids. How are you doing?
Same here. State of emergency and incomplete ban for exit from home. I am home office and on duty on schedule in some days. I'm fine.

It's not very easy... thankfully I have a bit of work still... (if not much will come, there might be help from the Government).
I don't sleep very well (falling asleep is ok and the first few hours, but then I wake up and there's too many thoughts and worrying a bit…).
Any upcoming events were cancelled (or will be), thus I can't do much but the things I do when at home: listening to music, reading and watching tv. Plus exchanging emails or phone calls with Friends all over the globe.

Yes, it is a challenge. Hopefully it won't be too many weeks now before things can start going back to normal. Germany seems to have handled it very well, I'm impressed.

Re: What are you thinking?
I've been very busy at work lately, but expect more time during Easter to work here.
Easter is going to be a downer, though. We had planned visiting my parents, my father is turning 75, but now we can't go.

I'm a bit "undecided" about this. What we handled well is the fact that so far the Hospitals were able to cope with it (i.e. not too many ill people to be treated at once). But what was missing was a sign of "hope", just talking about the end of lockdown; because, let's face it: a longer lockdown would be more damaging in the end! Who pays for the Health System? Yes after all it's those of us who do work within our economy, so we can't close this down for a long time, because then everything will go downhill.

Re: What are you thinking?
Thinking about the summer. We will drive to my parents' place and spend a few weeks with them. We haven't decided when to return, it depends on the weather and how bored we get. Hopefully we will have some nice weather, although June has been remarkable so far with steady weather between 20 and 30 degrees and almost no rain. Can't really ask for more here on the top of Europe.

In which part of Norway are your parents?

The south end. A 14 hours drive from where I live.

Well my summer plans have been f**d up by Corona...
Some UK friends who usually come over to Germany have cancelled their stay, so I won't be able to mee them this summer.
I don't wanna spend much money on holidays (as I might need it later, because business isn't going so well - not too bad right now, but who knows about late July-August...)!
Thus I will "only" do the usual things: excursions, hikes and the like. All in the south of Germany.

Re: What are you thinking?
We had only planned for visiting my parents so our plans are intact. But I have had to cancel 5-6 business trips and our vacation for my wife's 40th birthday.

It seems interesting even this trip to south of Norway.

Re: What are you thinking?
Well I've been thinking that sometimes there's a phase when I'm not very interested in GN'R (especially with a lack of new stuff), but in general I think the world would be a poorer place without GN'R. So I'll patiently wait for any news on new albums, tours or whatever.

It's where I grew up. Hopefully we will have some nice weather so we can swim and go on hikes. And I want to help my parents out with garden work and maintenance. It's good to be back, I am not very nostalgic but the place is special to me. The kids love it there, too. They are working on a small cabin in the woods they started the last time we were there.

Just had my first run since having knee surgery. A short trip to see how my knee works. No pain at all. Hopefully no swelling later today, too. Jiipii!

Great, happy for you. I'm trying to start running, it's hard for now. Lately I keep in shape by swimming (I learned to swim in 2016 :-)).

Do you swim in a swimming pool or outside? I am a really bad swimmer but like to do it when given an opportunity.

In a pool. I'm still afraid of outdoor swimming.

Downzy announced yesterday that they would make the forum unavailable to new members that have registered since a few weeks ago and to guests, due to traffic or something. I guess something happened during that process.
don't worry, im banned from gnfnr forum,... so
What did you do to get banned?

Ah.
Btw, you know you can actually integrate youtube videos on this site? There's a button in the editor that allows you to do it.
