You're right, it reads funny. The guy also reads bi-polar. Some nice PHD (prescription-happy doktor) will medicate him and he will battle side effects of said meds the rest of his life as will the care-takers responsible for him. I hope he stumbles upon some other road than that and it genuinely leads to a better place.
