Karice's Guns N'Roses Corner! :D

Well, I think Perfect Crime might be Guns N'Roses hardest song to understand. LOL. I had to look up Perfect Crime SEVEN times before I FINALLY understood most of what the hell Axl is saying. The ONLY lyrics I could clearly understand without looking it up 7 times was,"I got a blind man following me in Chains!," "Just let me be!" And don't ,"Feck with me," and "Perfect Crime."

On a YouTube video of the Infamous Riverport Concert near St Louis, where Axl literally dove offstage into a crowd to confront a guy who was illegally filming him and The Guns, a Fan wrote something like,"Why did Axl dive off the stage into the crowd like a Madman? Wouldn't a sane person calmly walk off and down the stage using the steps?" Another Fan responded something like,"You expect Axl to be sane? Our Axl? Nah!" LMAO!

The first time I heard Coma, I was like,"Axl at some parts in Coma sounds like a man at the end of his wits!" The second time I heard Coma, I fell asleep in the middle of it due to my third attempt to listen to Use Your Illusion Part 1 all the way through. I made it to the middle of Coma which is still impressive. The third time I heard Coma, I was like,"Axl just doesn't sound like he is at the end of his wits, he sounds aggressive, pleading, urgent  and desperate as if trying to scream at a Friend to come back to life after overdosing such as saying,"You better not die from an overdose! I need and want you to survive! Snap out of this drug overdose! You have so much life left to live! Don't die now!" I was like,"Wow! I have NEVER heard Axl sound so desperate, pleading, urgent, aggressive." There is a part where the Protagonist in the song talks about how peaceful, nice, and beautiful the place he is in the Coma is and how he doesn't want to ever come back to the real world but it sounds as if he can feel his Friends begging him to come back to the real world and feels conflicted. I thought,"I guess this is how a person who overdosed can feel, the peaceful feeling of where he is but can hear his Friends begging him to come back to the real world and feel torn. I looked it up and it was said Coma was about Slash who had overdosed, so I thought,"No wonder Axl sounds this desperate, aggressive, pleading, and urgent. Slash is/was one of his Best Friends."  I later looked it up again and it was said Coma was about AXL who overdosed, by taking a bunch of pills and passing out after being really stressed and realized he didn't want to die of an overdose as he thought he had so much to live for and hadn't done enough at this point yet and needed and wanted to live  and snapped out of his own overdose. I was like,"AXL was talking about HIMSELF in this song? AXL is the "Friend," begging him to come back to the real world? This makes it even deeper than Axl screaming at Slash!

So, I was watching,"Axl In Court," Part 1 and 2 on YouTube, and William Rose shows up to Court wearing a turquoise suit to testify at the Steven Adler vs Guns N'Roses Lawsuit. Posters were like,"Why does Axl sound very deep when speaking and sound so high when singing?" "Oh my God, Axl isn't singing any of his answers! So weird! " "Axl didn't say,"Welcome to the Jungle

, you're going to Die! So weird! "Axl isn't dancing in the Courtroom! So weird!" "Why didn't Axl just LEAVE Court early like he did at the Riverport Concert?" "Why isn't Axl cussing out anybody in the Court? So weird! "Why is Axl so reserved, serious, and calm in this Court?" So weird!



Only Idiots can't tell that William wouldn't want to bring his fun loving, crazy, foul mouthed, and reckless Axl persona to a damn Court of Law! William was being SUED by a Former Bandmate, a very serious Court Case why would he want to dance and sing and leave early in a Court of Law? He needed to be SERIOUS, and polite and calm, not be his fun loving, reckless, singing and dancing Axl persona. Besides, Axl wouldn't be wearing a Suit, Axl would have shown up to court wearing nothing but shorts,shoes, and a bandana. Axl has a "Fuck off and fuck you!" Persona, which is the WRONG attitude to bring to Court! Axl's antics would have most likely gotten him held in Contempt of Court, a serious charge on top of being sued. Just showing up in shorts,shoes, and a bandana is grounds for Contempt of Court. Also, William was STILL on Probation for the Riverport Concert Riot at this time. Why would William want to risk being sued, held in Contempt of Court, and getting put in jail by violating his Probation by being his Axl persona in Court? So many People posting on those Court videos failed to see how much trouble William could have gotten into by being his Axl persona in Court.

Is this Axl himself or  Axel(They literally spelled his name Axel in the beginning, ) , an Axl Impersonator?

Fans commented something like,"No way is this Axl. Axl was 39 when this was shot. This Axel guy looks like a 17 year old Pizza Boy! .

Another Fan said something like,"Axel looks WAY too young here. He looks YOUNGER than Axl did during his Appetite For Destruction era when he was in his mid 20's, 25-26. Axl was 39 when this was shot."

The Interviewer invaded Axel's personal space and Axel just awkwardly backed up. Axl would have hit him for doing this!"

Axel is shy and awkward. Axl is confident and outgoing.

"Axel kind of looks like a Plain , Average, everyday, Joe here. No way would Axl go out in Public looking like a Plain, everyday Average Joe!

"Axel's speaking voice is VERY deep. Axel's voice here sounds like a mix between his VERY deep speaking voice and his VERY high pitched singing voice."

A couple of Fans said something like,"This is Axl because he has the Appetite For Destruction Cross Tattoo on his arm. If he didn't have the Appetite For Destruction Tattoo, I would think this was an Axl Rose Impersonator, and not even a good one."

Hmm. If someone really wanted to impersonate Axl, they could just get an Appetite For Destruction Tattoo like he has however...

Once again, this I feel this thread is something that's been on my mind for a while now and feel it's a pretty intensive Topic, one too intensive for my Karice's Guns N'Roses Corner.

If Appetite For Destruction Axl ended up in 2022, how do you think he would do? I feel Fans would say something like,"You look JUST like a young Axl Rose from Guns N'Roses! And maybe show him a picture of himself from say 1987 and he could smile and vaguely say something like,"I see the resemblance." If Fans outright asked him if he IS YoungvAxl Rose(Which would be a REALLY weird question as Current Axl is 60,) 🧐) he could honestly say something like," If I were Young Axl Rose, I most likely wouldn't be here in the year 2022. I'd be in the 80's or the 90's. Axl Rose is 60 now. " If Fans asked him what his name is, he could honestly answer something like,"My name is Bruce." MANY Fans, especially Younger Fans will forget he has Bruce in his name and only REALLY remember his name as Axl or William.

He'd have to hide his Appetite For Destruction Cross arm Tattoo however as to avoid a lot of scrutiny. Because MOST people do not have that Appetite For Destruction Cross arm Tattoo. 🤪 He hides that Tattoo REALLY well when he wears long sleeved suits! 🤪 MAYBE he could also get his picture taken live with Current Axl and that should quell a lot of suspicions of him being the same Axl from Appetite For Destruction. Because if they are seen together, most People would think,"Okay, they are CLEARLY different People!" Maybe Young Axl and Current Axl would do a Duet together and REALLY make Fans happy!  

Appetite For Destruction Axl might have a hard time ordering drinks from a Bar however for obvious reasons. 🤪 His Birthyear would say he was born in 1962 but he looks suspiciously like a 20 something year old... 🤪 And.... His name on the ID would either say Axl Rose or William Rose which would raise eyebrows. And it would be expired by almost 30 years!

With the ongoing Pandemic, Young Axl would definitely consider getting Vaccinated (Which would be hard to do when he has to provide an ID in order to get Vaccinated, and once again, his ID would read,"William Rose and say he was born in 1962," which would be a huge problem for him in 2022 when he is trying to hide that he is Young Axl.

Furthermore, if it is discussions you want and responses to your posts, then A4D is not the best option. There are simply not enough members here to sustain much discussions. There are many better suited arenas for discussions than this place, including other forums with many more members and social platforms like Facebook and Discord. So don't be disappointed if you get little response to your posts

I wonder how Appetite For Destruction Axl would fare tech wise in 2022 and I could see him being dumbfounded and confused but interested in Social Media, Smartphones, Modern Internet and Cable. I could see him innocently mentioning where he comes from, the phones are only in houses and Business and aren't mobile! And I could see him wondering how a Mobile Phone could take pictures and video!

But he shouldn't look about 8 years younger than his Appetite For Destruction years. He looks about 17 in that Interview. He was 25 and 26 in his Appetite For Destruction years... The Interview in question he was about 38 and looked about 21 years younger! 🧐

Hmm. I read he got Plastic Surgery when he was in his late 40's/early 50's, but I doubt a 38 year old man would be getting plastic surgery....

Different types of Axl's speaking voice?

He has the drunkish slurish type of speaking voice he used in the clip of him playfully doing a plie ballet move.

He has the deep Barry White type of voice he used in Court when Steven Adler sued Guns N'Roses. He also has this deep voice when he did the roughly 30 minute Interview with Kurt Loder in his house that was filmed in around 1990 as he said the 2 Disc Album wasn't out yet (Use Your Illusions Albums )

He has a subtle, calm, angry, Rage filled voice(Basically a calm rage) when he confronted Security for not doing their jobs properly) at Riverport Concert.

He has a mixture of both a deep voice and his high pitched singing voice in the Interview at NBA Finals.

Hmm. I looked up more Comments on Axl Rose Interview at NBA Finals and Fans said Axl recently battled Cancer when that Interview was shot which is why he looks so off in that Interview. They said he is wearing a wig(I thought his long red hair looked off even before they said it was a wig(Something about the middle part in his hair looked particularly off) but I quelled my questioning by reminding myself that he usually has long red hair anyways at that time. But something deep inside of me still thought his hair looked weird even after I quelled my questioning about his hair). Fans also said he shaved his eyebrows. His eyebrows did look off, not going to lie, but that could have been Chemotherapy that thinned his eyebrows so much.

Well I don't know about surgery, but the rumours have been around for a long time. I guess it's for experts (i.e. not me) to compare old pics and newer pics.

Anyway, in general I think you should not read too many comments on yt. Many of those comments are uninformed or stupid or useless.

About Axl looking different from himself, Axl even manages to look like FOUR different People in the Welcome To The Jungle music video. The Axl that steps off the bus, the Axl who is singing, the Axl who is watching TVs, the Axl who is sitting in a chair silently screaming, all look like different People! 🧐

Well I guess Axl has different faces? Or should we say different facets (of his personality)?
One thing I know is: I'm not the "same" person every day. Some days I might be more emotional, others I might be more angry.
With Axl, it looks like he might change within the minute.

Wow. He looks like a cross between a Country Cowboy, a Redneck, a Kentucky Bluegrass Man,  a Construction Worker,  a beer drinker,  an Adult Frat Boy in that picture. I don't know if I am explaining it right... I can't quite put my finger on it.

To me, he looks like Axl, just a little bit older as in the UYI days...

Is Chinese Democracy that bad? I don't think Chinese Democracy is THAT bad! In 2010 I watched Get Him To The Greek, a movie about a once highly successful Rockstar named Aldous Snow who was on top until he made a flop album called African Child. The main single, and title of the album was slammed by both Critics and Fans as being condescending and Racist. In fact, it was so hated, it was named as number 3 on top three worst things to happen to African Culture. War and Famine were the top 2. It was considered the worst thing to happen to Black Culture since the Rodney King beatings. Aldous became a has been because of it.

Aldous Snow still defended it when he was gearing up for a Comeback Concert at The Greek Amphitheatre, hence the name of the movie. On the old IMDB Messageboards, I wrote something like,"Why did Aldous defend African Child? It was a major flop, majorly hated, and it caused him to be a Has Been! I wouldn't have defended it. I would have figuratively thrown African Child in the garbage and never looked back! I can't believe he defended it!"

A Poster responded something like,"An Artist should always stand by their work and defend it, not throw it away because it flopped and was majorly hated. Axl Rose didn't throw away Chinese Democracy and Chinese Democracy is the equivalent of African Child. Axl Rose stuck by Chinese Democracy like a true Artist does. Another Poster was like,"Yep, Chinese Democracy is the real world equivalent of African Child. Good for Axl for not disowning it. He gets major props and kudos for that from me."

I personally don't think Chinese Democracy is THAT bad to be considered the real world equivalent of the truly awful African Child song. Chinese Democracy isn't considered top anything bad to Chinese Culture. And Chinese Democracy isn't condescending or Racist like African Child is. Also Chinese Democracy smacks heavily of It's So Easy from Appetite For Destruction album. The two songs sound eerily similar despite being released 20 years apart. It's interesting that 25 year old Axl gave a glimpse of what his older self would sound like 20 years later. Chinese Democracy once again isn't THAT bad.

My guess is: it was not the intention of the director of the video or of the band to portray Axl's moods - the intention was to create a storyline for a video to fit the song!

Yep, Fans of Get Him To The Greek movie gave Axl Rose respect for not throwing Chinese Democracy in the trash and sticking by it. About the Aldous Snow being a Fictional Character in a movie, it's still the essence of People comparing African Child to the real world Chinese Democracy. It would be like if Aldous Snow promoted highly controversisl Blood Diamonds and got a lot of heat for it and wouldn't apologize for the blood Diamonds and Axl Rose also promoted Blood Diamonds in say 1998 and got a lot of heat for that and wouldn't apologize for it and People were like,"That reminds me of when Axl Rose wouldn't apologize for promoting Blood Diamonds despite getting a lot of heat!" This is just an example and of course Axl Rose never actually promoted Blood Diamonds in the real life.

About my hypothetical,"Appetite For Destruction Axl ends up in 2022," posts, I forgot to add that Slash and Duff would most likely be staring in awe at 25 year old Axl being right in front of them and would be gawking at him and be like,"How did Appetite For Destruction Axl end up in 2022? How is he here with us and Current Axl? They'd be staring at him like, 🧐🤨🤯. It be pretty shocking to see your 25 year old Bandmate standing next to your Current 60 year old Bandmate. Clearly they'd recognize 25 year old Axl from 1987 was right there with them in 2022. Anybody would be pretty shocked. I think Audience Members would notice the shocked and confused looks on Slash and Duff and would notice some sort of Twilight Zone thing was happening. LMAO!

So, on YouTube, I got recommended something like,"Axl gets greeted by Fans in Madrid." The Fan uploaded a song voiceover or is that "singover?  that was clearly Axl's undeniable and signature voice. I was like,"This song is clearly Axl's voice, but I don't know what song it is, but it sounds good. I wondered what wonderful song this was and wanted to know more. I liken this to eating a piece of cake and not knowing what type of cake it is, but knowing it's delicious and you want a whole slice of it. A Fan years before I even saw this video asked something like,"What Guns N'Roses song is playing in this video? " Other Fans responded,"I.R.S." I looked up I.R.S." and it's a REALLY good song and I listened to it like 8 times before finally stopping! I could only really clearly understand the Chorus of wanting to call The President, a Private Eye, the FBI, the I.R.S as Axl is doing his signature screech wail in this song but I like it a lot. I had to look up I.R.S. Lyrics on Google to understand what Axl was singing in the verses. It seems to be about a failing relationship or something. The power note Axl hits at around 3:34-3:44 is REALLY amazing!
