Your favorite parts in Guns N'Roses songs?

My favorite parts in Paradise City is,"Captain America's been torn apart!" I love that part! I love the emotion when he sings that part! I also love the last two minutes of Paradise City! Axl REALLY gets into the song and it blows me away every time! Also Paradise City was the first song that introduced me to Axl's REALLY aggressive vocals. Remember, I used to think Sweet Child Of Mine was Guns N'Roses ONLY song, and Sweet Child Of Mine is technically a Power Ballad, not a Hard Rock song like Perfect Crime or Paradise City, so  I was pleasantly surprised by the aggressive vocals in Paradise City. . Paradise City is the song that introduced me to Axl's aggressive vocals.

In Perfect Crime, my favorite part is,"I've got a blind man following me in Chains. That lyric sounds exceptionally good.

In IRS, my favorite part is the roughly 8 second "True," Axl wails close to the end. I found myself mentally giving him a standing ovation when I heard it. That's definitely the best part of the song.

On my Guns N'Roses to do list today.

Listen to "Oh My God." Fans were like,"I hated Oh My God," when I first heard it, but now I like it a lot. So, Oh My God is the song on my to do list today!

So, Guns N'Roses Fans were like,"Guns N'Roses has a song called Cornshucker," and posted some of the lyrics. I was like,"Come on, no way would Guns N'Roses have such a NASTY song! 🤮These Fans are DELUSIONAL! 🧐🤨 I was also thinking,"No way would Axl be singing about washing his little Axl or wanting to put his Little Axl in a Woman's back door. No way." No way would Axl sing such a NASTY, disgusting, gross,  graphic and shocking song about his Little Axl or wanting his Little Axl in a Woman's back door. I could see him singing a song about wanting his Little Axl in a Woman's FRONT door, but her BACK door? No way. No way. I went to Google and looked up ,"Cornshucker," by Guns N'Roses thinking that Google was going to reply something like ,"No results for Cornshucker by Guns N'Roses. Did you mean Guns N'Roses?" I was SHOCKED that those Fans weren't delusional at all. Cornshucker is a real song. WTF? 🤨🧐

I listened to Oh My God today and Axl definitely outdid himself on Oh My God. He sounds like he was doing Heavy Thrash Metal, a Genre that is extremely hard to sing. Think System Of A Down's BYOB,"Why do they always send the poor?" Opening. Axl sounds like a Man possessed by a Heavy Thrash Metal Rocker. I thought Perfect Crime was Axl's hardest song he sang, no, Oh My God is definitely harder than Perfect Crime. Axl doesn't even really sound like Axl on Oh My God. That's how good Oh My God is where Axl seemed to have delved into a Genre he hasn't done before and pulled it off succinctly.

I remember a while back, before I really got into Guns N'Roses, People were saying that Guns N'Roses sang Patience. I was like,"Lies. Blatant Lies. Guns N'Roses only sing uptempo songs like Sweet Child Of Mine, Paradise City, and Welcome To The Jungle l. Patience is a low and deep song. There's no way that Guns N'Roses sing Patience. Patience sounds like a song by Extreme, not Guns N'Roses. How wrong I was when I learned that yes, Patience is a song by Guns N'Roses too. November Rain, Don't Cry, and Estranged would have given me doubts too back then as being Guns N'Roses songs as back then I thought Guns N'Roses only sang songs you could dance to, not mellow songs like Don't Cry, Patience, November Rain, and Estranged.

So, I watched November Rain video and it starts off with Axl or rather Axl's character, I'll call him Christopher or Chris for short, taking sleeping pills and going to sleep in his bed. Chris appears to be sleeping peacefully. He seems to be having a nice dream of him and his beautiful wife getting married in a church. I'll call her Sandra. Their Friends and Family are happy to see them getting married.  Slash, I'll call him Patrick, is the best man who forgot the wedding rings! Quelle horror! Luckily, Duff, who I will call Bryan is a Groomsman who just happens to have a couple of rings gives Patrick the back up rings with an impish smile that looks like this. The Priest looks amused and Chris has a look of love as the Wedding goes on and he and Sandra kiss. Also Chris in the real world is tossing and turning in his sleep, no longer sleeping restfully. He looks a little bothered in his sleep, not like the relaxed and in love Chris in the dream. There is a scene in Chris's dream of Chris and Sandra in a flashback with them hanging out with his Friends in a bar who accept her as Chris's girlfriend. They all are smoking.

. In the dream, Chris is also singing and playing November Rain in a Concert like he is trying to portray Axl Rose. Patrick in the dream is playing a guitar solo literally solo. This really is a weird dream. After the solo and the Wedding , Chris and Sandra enter a car and Chris has a look of love, like 🥰 but Sandra has a look of which is NOT a good sign right after becoming someone's wife. At the reception, Sandra looks happy again and Chris looks happy. For some reason, she isn't wearing her wedding dress but is wearing some kind of leather mini dress like a biker chick (REALLY inappropriate, especially for her wedding reception)and Chris is still wearing his Groom's Outfit which is appropriate for a Wedding reception, his for God's sake!  Their Family and Friends and they are having a good time and so are they and it is a bright and clear day. Suddenly, rain starts pouring and the guests flee for protection and a guests for some strange reason jumps into the cake(REALLY rude to do other People's cake and Chris doesn't even hit him for doing that, I think Axl would, ). There is a scene of Chris walking past a Gun shop.

Suddenly, Sandra, the bride who JUST got married is lying dead in her Casket! Ouch! The mood is very somber and Chris has a grieving and tortured  expression on his face, like someone who became a Widower VERY shortly after getting married would have. There are a lot of sad faces at Sandra's Funeral. Chris watches in tortured Horror as his wife he JUST married is lowered into her grave. So sad. : disappointed: There is a flashback of Sandra throwing her bouquet. Her bouquet lands on her coffin. Very sad. 🥺 Chris in the real world wakes up in his bed from his nightmare panicking like he just saw Freddy Krueger himself. We can breathe a sigh of relief. Chris's Wife didn't REALLY die right after marrying him, it was just a nightmare. Then we feel a sense of Horror and sadness as Chris in the real world goes to Sandra's grave and kneels over her grave with a sad expression, meaning she really did die in the real world and Chris's nightmare was also his Memory. Ouch. 🥺.

What makes this video more interesting and sad in the real world is that Axl in the real world got married and divorced to Erin Everly within a year! So both Chris and Axl lost their Wives VERY shortly after getting married to them. One by death, the other by Divorce. Ouch! 🥺

So YouTube recommended to me a video where Axl suddenly goes into suddenly goes on a rant about child abuse at a Guns N'Roses Show. It personally gave me a weird feeling and the rant is about 5 minutes long and I thought ,"He honestly could have just written a song about this rant, not suddenly burst into a moody rant about the child abuse that he endured. A Guns N'Roses Fan posted something like,"I wonder what the Gun Brothers were thinking when Axl went on this sudden child abuse rant in the middle of a show." The reply was something like,"The Gun Brothers were probably thinking something like,"Oh God, Axl's in one of his ranting bad moods again. We all should go take a backstage, relax, let him rant out his emotions, and come back when he's done." But seriously, the sudden rant felt weird to me. On a side note I felt a Kurt Cobain presence from this video. He seemed to be channeling Kurt Cobain in this ranting video. I was like,🧐

I listened to Back Off Bitch multiple times before realizing Axl laughs in the beginning.

I listened to Perfect Crime Multiple times before realizing that a lot of Axl's proceding lyrics are sung in a slightly different key. For example, "I've got a blind man following me in chains," is sung in a higher voice, and the proceeding lyric,"He's fun to watch when the world has stopped," is sung in a slightly lower voice. I JUST realized this about two days ago.

Also in Perfect Crime, I listened to the live version of it from 1991 and Axl sings, "Ostracized, but that's all right, I was thinking of something myself." I had heard Peffect Crime Studio Version and didn't hear that part, so I assumed that A added that part for the Live Version. I listened to the Perfect Crime Studio Version again, and I was thinking,"I do hear some kind of mumbling, but I can't make it out.  I listened to the Studio Version  more times, and I clearly heard "Ostracized but that's alright. I was thinking about something myself!" It took me multiple listens of the Studio version to hear that part. In my defense, Axl sings that part extremely low. If he sang it in his higher pitched voice like he sang for the rest of the song, it would have been easier to hear.

So, Axl invites a man to um "Kiss his Little Axl," and then calls the other Man Gay. How ironic.

So, YouTube recommended me a video of Stump's Interview where he talks about the infamous Riverport Concert Riot thing. In that video, they show shots of Axl's Mugshot and Axl has a smirk in his Mugshot. I find Axl's smirk hilarious. Compare this to his 20 year old Mugshot where he has more of an emotionless expression.

I listened to Back Off Bitch, and Axl seems REALLY resentful and angry at whoever the Woman is in this song. Oh my God, since Axl writes his songs from his personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences, what Woman hurt him so bad he'd write and sing Back Off Bitch about her? 🧐 I REALLY hope Back Off Bitch isn't dedicated to Erin Everly, his ex wife because that would be beyond REALLY messed up as she was the love of his life for years and he even married her....🧐

It isn't about Erin Everly. It was written before they started dating, possibly as early as in 1982. Why don't you read about about the songs before posting?

Hmm. I was editing my post to say,"Edit. JUST found out Back Off Bitch was actually written in the early 80's before Erin and he ever started dating," saw I had new notifications, and ended up losing the post I was editing.

Fellow Guns N'Roses Fans, was Axl heavily sedated here? He seems VERY calm, eerily calm matter of fact. A Guns N'Roses Fan said something like,"This man being questioned on the Court Stand seems heavily sedated and REALLY calm like he let Axl pump him up with sedatives like Xanax or Benzo so he would remain calm and wouldn't go crazy in Court."



This extremely calm man is the same man who dived headfirst off stage into a crowd because someone was illegally filming him with a camera and he hit a Security Guard in the head and stormed off angrily.

For starters: Axl is not stupid, he probably knew he would have to "behave" in a court room (orders from the band's manager )!

In general, Axl may have had an "explosive" temper, but possibly he had more than one side to his personality (as you already noticed, according to your posts in here).

He admitted in an old interview to have been getting psychological help - that might or might not include medication too.

The Riverport Concert Riot was what REALLY got me into Guns N'Roses. Before I thought they were a one hit wonder who only had Sweet Child Of Mine as a hit. Vh1 had a "100 Most Shocking Moments in Rock And Roll History, and The infamous Riverport Concert Riot was like number 3. I think John Lennon's death and Kurt Cobain's suicide were 1 and 2. Every commercial break, VH1 would air the clip of,,"Thanks to the lame ass Security, I'm going home!" Slam mic angrily and walk off. You would think that airing that Hurricane Axl moment every Commercial break would mean that the Riverport Concert Riot was the most shocking Moment in Rock And Roll History, but, no, it was just number 3. LMAO! I was like,"This guy seems like a Maniac, I love it, I want to know more about him. I thought he only sang Sweet Child Of Mine, guess there's more to him.

Thanks. I was thinking it does sound like a breakup between him and a woman as he talks about love, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't talk about love when it comes to his old Band, but I can see him expressing regrets over all of his original Gun Brothers either being disowned by The Family or abandoning The Family. Three of the Original Gun Brothers left on their own. One of them was kicked out of the Family. When Chinese Democracy was released, Axl was the ONLY original Family Member left. Must have been rough on him. Luckily, he recently got two Gun Brothers back, so that must make him happier than when he was the ONLY Family Member left. He'd probably be even happier if he had all four of his Gun Brothers back, but at least he got two of his Gun Brothers back.

Well, that is just guesswork. There were lawyers and negotiations involved for sure!
Izzy might've been considered, but it didn't come through (maybe for financial reasons - more guesswork). Steven was a "guest" on a few shows drumming only on a few songs, but personally I had the impression that the band didn't consider him "stable" enough to do a gruelling world tour.

I was watching an Axl Rose interview, the one with Kurt Loder in Axl's house and Axl is smiling like and the lights cut out for a few seconds and his smile disappears and his face looks confused like 🧐🤨 . Fans on the video said something like,"Axl's mood changed when the lights cut out on him. He was about to snap. Kurt laughed nervously thinking that Axl was going to probably fly off the handle! Luckily, the crew Member turned the lights back on." Come on. Do fans REALLY think Axl was going to go crazy because the lights cut out on him? He's wasn't that unstable and unpredictable that he'd go crazy over a lights issue. It be like saying Axl would go crazy if it was sunny one minute and raining the next minute. Once again, he's not THAT unstable and unpredictable! He didn't look mad at all, just realized something was off, hence the confused look. Other fans pointed out something like,"Axl was wearing sunglasses when the lights cut out on him. How could he tell the lights cut out on him? " Obviously he realized the room got darker even with sunglasses . But he didn't look mad. Just confused.

At least Steven came back to drum for a few songs. So, Axl had three of his Brothers back when Steven drummed on a few songs. Three out of four Brothers ain't bad.
