What's up my friends!!

Just got back from The Cochella festival.
Had an amazing time.
I rented a huge RV
Motorhome and parked directly behind the stage.
It was crazy hot in the desert, so luckily
I had airconditioning.
Had plenty of drinks and food for all my friends that came by.
I was so busy being a host I didn't get to see enough music.
Did see a new band Wolfmother, The Ya Ya Ya's and The Eagles of Death Metal.
But missed Tool and Depeche Mode
Which I'm kind of bummed about.
I heard Tool were insane.
Great time overall though.
Gettin back to work with the band on Monday to go through some songs.
Can't wait to get started.

Camp Freddy Radio

Looks like I will be co-hosting every Saturday for most of the summer.
While Dave Navarro is off doing his band Panic Channel as well as doing his T.V. Show Rockstar.
I did last Saturdays show with Billy Morrison.
I am going to be on this Saturday with a surprise guest.

Oh my God,

Just got back from Magic Mountain.
Private party
Only 2500 at the park.
It was crazy, I was like a kid running from ride to ride.
My favorite was Scream and X treme
But made Goliath and Viper as well as Batman and more.
There was really no lines because a lot of Hollywood party people were there and into hanging at the Bar.
Not me, it was the best.
Also this Saturday
I will be hosting Camp Freddy Radio with special guest Slash
From 6pm To 8pm

Hello Everyone,

Just getting back from Boston. Took three winners of the Zildjian contest that we started last year when I was on tour.
I took them on a tour of the factory.
Zildjian makes my cymbals and I have been an endorser for 18 yrs now.
After the tour I helped them pick out
8 free cymbals to take home. Each drummer was different in styles and needed there own
Sound.
So it took time.
I arrived at 830am
Which is pretty early
For me.
It was more like 530am L.A. Time
I finally left at around 400pm
So it was a long day
But I think everyone was very happy.
Had dinner on the water with The Zildjian family.
Had Lobster and Boston Clam Chowder
Amazing!!
Anyway home for a minute.
In the studio with VR
All next week.
Pro-production!!!!!

MONDAY, JUNE 19, 2006

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been on the Forum lately.
Have been hard at work on the new VR
Stuff.
We have been working 5 days a week for the last month. And have about 10 songs worked up.
Going to work in my studio for another couple of weeks.
Then start rehearsing
For our mini tour of the west coast.
Then back in the studio to complete the album.
Hope some of you have been listening to Camp Freddy radio.
I have been doing it the last month or so.
Might be on this Saturday not sure yet.
But will keep you informed.

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to say sorry for not being on The Sorum Forum in awhile.
Went out on the road for a few shows.
We have been working on writing the Album most of the summer and needed to get out.
It was fun, short but enough to inspire us to get the live feel again.
We had been working in my studio but are now
In a live rehearsal space.
Coming up with some great jams.
I am sorry we didn't play any new material on the 5 dates that we did play.
The Band wants the new stuff to be the best it can be before we let it out.
Anyway plan on writing all of Sept and part of October then in the studio.
That is the plan, so if it takes a little longer trust me it will be worth the wait.
This album is going to Rock.

Okay Everyone,
I know I have been away from The Sorum Forum for awhile now.
I promise I will get back to you all soon.
Had a small break from writing the album last week.
Slash took his son Cash to Disney World for his B-Day.
So I took a trip to Lake Tahoe in the mountains of California and Nevada. Did some rock climbing, hiking , waterskiing, rented a sailboat, Went to a Ben Harper concert and all around had a great time. Back to work this week. Want to get this album done and get back on tour to rock for all you beautiful people.

Hey Everyone,

Crazy busy now with The
Band. Rehearsing 5 days a week. Writing, writing, writing.
Also doing Jay Leno this thursday the 5th of October with Camp Freddy.
Have special guests Rick Neilson from Cheap Trick as well as Slash on guitars.
Also Scott Weiland will be
Singing lead on this one.
We are performing Surrender which will appear in the new film
Employee of the Month
Which comes out Oct. 6
The band on Leno will also
Include core Freddy members Donovan Leitch,
Billy Morrison and Chris Chaney.
Hope you all tune in.
The VR stuff is coming along. Rick Rubin came down yesterday to listen to some of our new material.
Also starting talks about our new album cycle.
New website design, photos, new merchandise
Etc..
So a lot of new things in the works.
Also some possible merch for Christmas.
So look for that as well.
I'll keep you posted on where to find it.

Hello All,
Very good news to report.
Have offically started preproduction with Producer Brendan OBrien.
Who has produced many
Hit records.
Ala, Incubus, STP , Pearl Jam and The Boss Bruce Springsteen.
Things are moving quick now. And we are all very excited.
Rome was not built in a day so I believe everyone
Will be very happy when its finished.
A lot of bandmate BDAYs
This month.
Scott, Dave's is today
And mine on Sunday the 19th.
Would love to thank Sammy, Jul, Chrissie and Tanja for the sweet Birthday card.
Anyway off to rehearsal now, then a gig tonight with Camp Freddy.
Hope everyone is healthy and having fun out there.

Hey Friends,

Looks like The Velvet Revolver are finally going to start recording the album.
We have 18 songs ready
And we are all very excited.
Producer Brendan O'Brien
Has been in Preproduction with us at Scotts Lavish studios for the last three weeks.
We have been working 6 days a week, and let me tell you that man has wiped us into shape.
This will be a killer album I promise you.
We are planning to record
Right up to Christmas and then finish up just after the New Year.
Making plans for touring
In the spring.
I know it has takin a little while but Its going ROCK.

Can't wait to get back out on the road with all you great Fans.
