From experience, that's similar to what a lot of Italians do here. With them, it's all things Italian at all times. They fly the Italian flag from their houses, cars and businesses. They celebrate Italian religious holidays that no one else does. They almost only eat Italian food or what they claim to be Italian food. And they all have that "hey-yo, d'you know who I know" attitude and accent.

I've only seen bits of the booklet but read same positive comment. Noticeable to me the professional grade photography coming out via... the place you, Soulmonster, are finding them too. I see an effort to interact with fans and market the band, with some classy stuff like said booklet while at the same time band members are free to market themselves and their other projects at will. This all feels really good to me and good for the future of this GNR. I am inspired to refer to the band as This GNR. It would look good on a mural sized poster of the band with T H I ans S in the same font as the logo font. Anybody know a good photographer who could get a group shot? I agree completely. If Axl had no future intentions for the band, he wouldn't bother to market it as a real band with all the merch, the long shows, the new web site, the solo spots to showcase "new" members, the interviews, and so on. If he just wanted to live off past glory and grab as much cash as possible, he could just do things more half-heartedly, be sloppy, not bother about brandishing, or even worse...*shrugs*...do a reunion tour with former members. He cares and that should mean new music, some day, some time.
