Transcript (excerpt):
--------------------------

True Fables: Guns ’n’ Roses drummer Steven Adler learned a thing or two about assaulting innocent public lighting facilities when he heard, during the last week of the group’s tour with Alice Cooper, that a couple of shows had to be canceled on account of Alice’s dad inconveniently buying the farm (that’s “passed away,” to you sophistos). When Steve found out that G & R would have to face the road, van troubles, bad food and no sleep while post-mortem business was tied up, rather than return home for a couple of days, he vented his spleen on the nearest lamppost and broke his hand. (There’s yer moral.) The band enlisted Cinderella drummer Fred Coury to take his place, and Steve will just have to attend the four upcoming sold-out shows at Perkins Palace from the other side of the mike. This little display should be a lesson for us all.
