Axl was having problems with his voice tonight and he switched to his lower register during the second part of Estranged as well as for parts of other songs (and it sounded very good).

Okay… I’m gonna be real here for a moment. A couple of shows ago, for whatever reason I got sick on my way to the show and I started getting nauseous – this is not making excuses, I’m just letting you know what’s going on, because I’ve sucked on certain parts. Anyway. So, I got really sick during the show and basically was over in my booth kind of ripping my throat out getting sick. And then the next show I was fucked, the next show I was good. And then tonight it’s like, “Oh well, you know, you can sing that part Ax, but that next part we’re gonna sit it out.” So I’m gonna be improvising and shit like that, but I’m gonna do my best not to let you fuckin’ down. Okay? And I want to say, it’s not about staying out, and partying, and all that kind of shit. It’s just from getting sick. So I didn’t fuck you over. Just saying. Thank you.

How many people saw Bohemian Rhapsody? You saw the movie? You know, Freddie is my favorite singer and it’s my favorite band. And I loved the movie, I loved that they made him knowable to everyone. But when they start to move it off into bullshit, like him coughing and going to (?). Like, he has AIDS - but he didn't have AIDS then. So then later in the show, they have him powering through the songs (?) singing in his low voice and not using real vocals. The thing is, Freddie never sang fucking highs (?) live. That was real, he sang in the lows, and that’s why I didn’t listen to their live shows when I was a fucking kid. (?) I’m just saying, Hollywood will tell you anything.
