“Anxious Disease” - any idea of when these sessions were?

Anxious Disease as you all know was a song released in 1996 by West Arkeen’s band, The Outpatience. It features guest appearances by all GN’R members at the time as well as Izzy.

However, the title track is arguably the most interesting as it was the last track to feature both Axl and Slash for almost 30 years.

According to the keyboardist from the band, West had a feeling GN’R wouldn’t be around much longer and secretly taped Slash and Axl’s parts separately, without letting either know they were being recorded. Which pissed both off to no end.

Axl supposedly also felt reserved about singing as he supposedly wanted to save any vocal appearances until the next GNR album.

As such the album received a very limited release in Japan in September 1996, and wasn’t released worldwide until 1999.

The question is, do we have any clue as to when these sessions were? 94? 95? 96?

I don't have any information, but I would guess it was either late 1995 or early 1996.

the entire album is sort of OK but it has a "generic" hair band feel to it. Izzy plays on "wound up in a vega" and his mere playing changes completely the dynamics of the band, he turns them into a street rock n roll band and it just fucking rocks.
