Tool Are Collaborating With Member of GN'R on Their New Album
Guns N' Roses multi-instrumentalist Chris Pitman revealed that he's working with Tool on their massively-anticipated new album.
The man tweeted a photo from the studio, along with a caption: "Studio nite, tracking, #dannycarey #beatrazr #kentbrisley #toolband."
In case this combo sounds surprising to you, it shouldn't, because Mr. Pitman was already involved with several members of the Tool roster in the past.
He played guitars and sang lead vocals in Zaum with drummer Danny Carey, and toured with Tool in the past.
Back in 1996, he played on Tool's "Ænima" album, contributing synth parts on "Third Eye."
He also played with Danny Carey, former Tool bassist Paul D'Amour, Gregg Edwards of Failure and Brad Laner of Medicine in one-off experimental alternative band Lusk, releasing one album called "Free Mars" with the gang in 1997 before disbanding..
Additionally, Chris also played in Replicants with Mr. D'Amour after he left Tool.
