i have listened to it a few times now and izzy's guitar seems to be REALLY LOW in the mix and slash's guitar seems to be ALL OVER IT

I can not believe that these guys will finally release a 1991 live concert (just 31 YEARS of waiting, huh?) and they will do this to the sound

they had done the same with the appetite demos in the toy box, you can barely hear izzy, but this seems to be even worse

no demos, no outtakes, no early versions of the songs (including the ones with the GNR lineup), no slash/duff/steven instrumental Chicago sessions, no izzy home made demos, no axl piano demos, no nothing?



hopefully the studio remasters brings a new life to the album

but based on what they seem to have done with the ritz 1991 show I am not hopeful at all

It's two shows (The Ritz 1991 and Vegas 1992), the ones that Slash had mentioned.

But yes, it doesn't look like there are any demos and that's a bit disappointing.

Yes, because it's past midnight here. I guess it'll be available for you at midnight in your time zone (but you could use VPN set to a European country or Australia, Japan etc.)

I can hear Izzy. Axl's vocals are a bit rough (like they were in 1991).
It is what it is, a live performance with good sound quality.

and what a tamed, sterile, amateur mix

the backing vocals mix is absolutely horrible

izzy's guitar is so low

no atmosphere whatsoever, it feels like they are playing to an empty hall

these guys really know how to ruin a live recording

they are actually seasoned professionals at that

it is unbelievable

thank god that bootlegs do exist!

if it was up to the official releases by these guys I would never know great the band was

oh, and anyone that is able to transcribe axl's words at the end of the song deserves a gold medal
