Slash Executive Producing Western Thriller 'Cut Throats Nine'

Rue Morgue Cinema and Raven Banner Entertainment have welcomed guitar legend and film producer Slash (Guns N' Roses, "Nothing Left To Fear") as executive producer for the western thriller "Cut Throats Nine". Attached to the project are stars Mads Mikkelsen ("The Hunt", "Hannibal"),Harvey Keitel ("Reservoir Dogs"), Julian Richings ("Man Of Steel", "X-Men: The Last Stand"), Kris Holden-Ried ("Lost Girl", "The Tudors"), writer/director Rodrigo Gudiño ("The Last Will And Testament Of Rosalind Leigh") and producers Marco Pecota and Jake Koseleci. Production is slated to commence in late 2014.

Both a western and a thriller, "Cut Throats Nine" approaches the genre with the philosophy that the biggest monster of them all is a human being pushed to its limits.
