Would Young Axl be proud of Recent/Current Axl today? :D

Let me preface this to say that this Topic is one that's been on my mind for a while, which is why it's not part of Karice's Guns N'Roses Corner. I feel this Topic deserves it's own Thread.

Would Young Axl be proud of Recent/Current Axl today? I think Young Axl would be proud of Recent/Current Axl today. I feel Young Axl would be happy to see how Happy Recent/Current Axl is and he is not an angry, reckless, explosive, moody, temperamental, fiery, impulsive, volatile man  but a playful, light hearted, gentle,  patient, kind, well loved, calm, man who can still sing and is very successful. He'd be happy that Slash and Duff are still with him and Guns N'Roses still exist, but might be confused on where Steven and Izzy are 🧐 (I am thinking of Appetite For Destruction Axl and not Use Your Illusion Axl ) (Edit. Just realized that Appetite For Destruction Axl wasn't the volatile, angry, impulsive, reckless, temperamental, moody man yet until Use Your Illusion era. Appetite For Destruction Axl was still pretty calm).

On a hilarious side note, Young Axl in say 2022 might be constantly told by Guns N'Roses Fans and People in general  that he looks JUST like a Young  Axl Rose from Guns N'Roses and should enter a Young  Axl Rose look alike Contest as he'd surely win! Maybe Young Axl could get his picture taken with Current/Recent Axl and surely that would send Guns N'Roses Fans and the General Public into a good tizzy! That picture would go viral REALLY quickly! Young Axl would have to cover up his tattoos however so to not let on that he is NOT a Young Axl Lookalike, but is him himself.

Young Axl might be wondering who the new People playing with older Axl, Duff, and Slash are, 🧐and   might raise his eyebrows at Older Axl's slightly heavier weight,🧐  but would be very happy overall.

Answering such a question required a much more profound understanding of Axl, now and then, than any of us has.

It would be wonderful if Young Axl could meet older Axl in the real world.

It would be wonderful if Young Axl  and Older Axl would Duet together, i.e, singing Sweet Child Of Mine together in 2022 at a Live Show.  Fans would go crazy in the best way possible! We'd love it! You'd have this "Young Axl Lookalike," (Really Young Axl himself)performing with Regular Older Axl! That would be mind blowing! Axl is used to Harmonizing with himself frequently anyway, so it wouldn't be such a big stretch to have him harmonizing with the Older Axl.

Hmm. I wonder if Use Your Illusions Axl who would know exactly why Steven and Izzy are no longer with Guns N'Roses and would have some idea about the slightly altered Current/Recent Guns N'Roses would feel about Recent/Current Guns N'Roses.

I really don't know, but this old interview was kinda fun to read for a little insight into Axl's mind at the time!

It’s the evening before a sold-out show in late January, and Rose is in an extremely good mood. Catching the singer in this frame of mind at the scheduled time for an interview can seem like a blessing from above if you’ve ever been around him in the other mood. When Rose is feeling pressured or angry, talking to him is a lot like dodging bullets. He tends to rant, barely stopping for breath, and even the most innocent of comments can set him on edge.

One thing that has people exasperated is the late show times. Why do you go on so late?

I pretty much follow my own internal clock, and I perform better later at night. Nothing seems to work out for me until later at night. And it is our show. I don’t want to make people sit around and wait –– it drives me nuts. That hour-and-a-half or two-hour time period that I’m late going onstage is living hell, because I’m wishing there was any way on earth I could get out of where I am and knowing I’m not going to be able to make it. I’m late to everything. I’ve always wanted to have it written in my will that when I die, the coffin shows up a half-hour late and says on the side, like in gold, SORRY I’M LATE.

On an interesting  note, Young Axl would be proud that Current/Recent Axl shows up on time!

Hmm. Maybe Young Axl might raise his eyebrows at Current Axl's considerably shorter and blonder hair, as Young Axl loves his long hair. He might be thinking,"WHY did my older self cut our beautiful long hair and why did he make our beautiful red hair blonde? 🧐🤨

Hmm. I forgot to mention that Current Recent Axl falls down a lot on stage. Maybe Appetite For Destruction Axl might think something like, "Older me REALLY needs to work on his balance ". I remember a Gunner(Guns N'Roses Fan) saying something like,"I am one year older than Axl and have been a Gunner since day one and I don't remember Young Axl falling constantly like Current Recent Axl does. Ouch. " An Axl Critic said something like," Axl started running backwards on stage like a Madman and didn't even bother to see where he was running to. That's just plain clumsy. No wonder he fell!" So, I feel Appetite For Destruction Axl would want Current Recent Axl to stop falling down constantly.
