The London date in June is one of only a handful of European dates confirmed so far...
GUNS N’ROSES are to play the LONDON DOCKLANDS ARENA on June 9, NME.COM can reveal.
Tickets for the show, the band’s first in the UK since their shows at the Milton Keynes Bowl in 1993, go on sale this coming Friday (March 2) priced £26.50, according to representatives at the venue.
A source close to the band hinted the show will not be part of an extensive UK tour, although an extra date at the Docklands has not been ruled out.
Guns N’Roses’ confirmed European shows so far are at: Rock Im Park Festival, Germany (June 1)
Rock Am Ring Festival, Germany (3)
Berlin Waldbuhne (5)
London Docklands Arena (9)
San Marino Jammin Fest (17)
Arnhem Gelredome (23)
Stockholm Globen (25)
Oslo Spektrum (26)
The band’s long-awaited new album, ‘Chinese Democracy’, is expected in June to coincide with the shows. The only original members of the band who remain from its previous incarnation are frontman Axl Rose and Dizzy Reed on keyboards.
