"OH MY GOD," GUNS N' ROSES FINALLY HAS A NEW SONG

Guns N' Roses fans, take heart: you'll be getting your first taste of new material in a decade during the MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday night. Don't head to the kitchen for a snack during the commercials, or you'll miss it.

While the new GN'R won't be making an appearance during the event itself, the band will be heard in ads for the new Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, "End of Days."

Movie sources confirmed to MTV News that the Guns N' Roses track, appropriately titled "Oh My God," will appear in both in the film and on the soundtrack CD. According to the film's music supervisor, G. Marq Roswell, the song was written specifically for the movie by Axl Rose after the singer saw it at an advance screening.

Guitarist Robin Finck, who left the band August 1 to tour with his old bandmates in Nine Inch Nails, is not on the track, according to GN'R manager Doug Goldstein.

Although Goldstein declined to name the players who are on the soundtrack song, the new GN'R band includes Rose, who's the old band's sole survivor, as well as longtime sideman Dizzy Reed and newbies Tommy Stinson, Josh Freese, and presumably guitarist Paul Huge.

The song is the most notable out of a strong lineup that also features mostly new tracks from the likes of Limp Bizkit, Creed, Rob Zombie, Everlast, Powerman 5000, Orgy, and most likely Korn. The music was compiled and coordinated by Roswell; the CD is being released on Interscope.

The doomsday action thriller, directed by Peter Hyams, tells the story of Satan visiting New York in search of a bride. It's up to an ex-cop-turned-elite security company honcho to stop him. The movie is scheduled for release in the U.S. on November 24.
