Plane Rude: While Guns N' Roses lead singer Axl Rose was stealing headlines for his much publicized misbehavior and subsequent apology while opening for the Rolling Stones at the LA Coliseum last month, GNR guitarist Izzy Stradlin was having to do some apologizing of his own. Stradlin pleaded guilty to urinating on the floor of a Phoenix-bound USAir jet in full view of crew and passengers. He was sentenced in Phoenix to pay a $2,000 fine and $1,000 in cleanup costs — which prompted irreverent Hits Magazine to ask, "What was he drinking? Battery acid?" He also received six months' probation and has been ordered to write the crew an apology.
