‘Obsession,' by Slash with Marta Sanchez
OK, we can officially say that we have seen and heard it all. Guns N’ Roses axeman Slash is at the center of what will likely be one of the major dance/pop hits of the season. He’s paired with singer Marta Sanchez for a Latin-spiced rhythm-pop twirler from the sounds track to “Curdled.” Remixer Tony Moran is recruited to push what is already a fairly jiggly tune over the top. Sanchez smolders and Slash floats fluttering riffs that are miles from the metallic sound he’s revered for.
