Live and let the old band die

Paradise City may be no more for Guns N’ Roses fans. The hard rock band could just be a memory. Rumors are rampant that the band is about to break into two separate outfits. Axl Rose may join bassist Duff McKagen in one project, while Slash, Gilby Clarke and Matt Sorum get together in another. No word from the band itself, but internal strife is nothing new to GNR. The band almost split apart several years ago over members’ drug habits.

Adios Axl?

Will it be Guns N’ no Roses? The music industry is rife with rumors of an imminent breakup of the band, with lead singer, Axl Rose reportedly heading for a joint project with GNR bassist Duff McKagen, while other re- ports have lead guitarist Slash, fellow guitarist Gilby Clarke and drummer Matt Sorum setting up -their own band.
