Sunrise a well known australian tv show announced guns n roses have confirmed they are touring australia in march 2013. There was some dude in america who confirmed this as they were talking about it. Now we just need to hear it from the band I guess.

Guns N' Roses rumoured to be Hunter bound

ROCK titans Guns N’ Roses are rumoured to be touring Australia early next year, including a date in the Hunter.

It is unclear whether the band will perform in Newcastle or an outdoor gig in the Hunter Valley but the band is hotly tipped to hit the region in mid-March.

Formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1985, Guns N’ Roses established itself as one of the world’s biggest rock bands.

The classic line-up consisted of vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler.

Rose is the only remaining original member of the band.

Sales of the genre-defining albums, including Appetite for Destruction, G N’ R Lies and Use Your Illusion I and II, exceed 100 million worldwide.

This month the band performed in India for the first time, playing classics including Sweet Child O’ Mine, Welcome To the Jungle, Paradise City and November Rain at a series of concerts.

Guns N’ Roses last toured Australia in 2010.
