Jakarta, Indonesia, October 17, 2012: Hard rock icons Guns N’ Roses have confirmed the band’s first ever live appearance in one of the world’s most populated cities, Jakarta, Indonesia, announced today. Making only one stop in southeast Asia, GN’R are set to invade the popular coastal town performing at the Lapangan D (D Field) Senayan, Jakarta on December 15, 2012.

Tickets for Guns N’ Roses live in Jakarta will go onsale today, October 17, and can be purchased at www.rajakarcis.com/2012/10/16/guns-n-roses/. Ticket prices range from US$ 73 to US$ 115, VIP packages are US$ 208 and more information can be found at www.gunsnroses.com.

It's pretty steep for them. But surely there are enough rich people in a 10 mill city to attend. Too bad it will be a rich guy concert only.

First thought I had too. It is just one more show added to the three alleged yet unconfirmed shows in India. Some complaints from Western fans about more touring instead of making new music and releasing it but if Jakarta is like India there are a lot of very serious fans who have been wanting GNR to come to town and do a show for a long, long time.

Yeah, the 'oh no not more touring' complaint is not very valid if they go to places they have never been to. Those fans also deserve to see them live.
