Freddie Mercury To “Appear” In Queen Musical “We Will Rock You” Anniversary

Legendary Queen frontman Freddie Mercury will “appear” onstage during a special performance commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Queen musical “We Will Rock You,” international news sites reported on Monday, May 14, 2012.

According to Queen guitarist Brian May as quoted in the reports, Mercury will appear onstage as “an optical illusion of sorts,” and stressed that the effect is not a hologram.

May did not disclose the details on what kind of technology they will use to make Mercury appear onstage. However, he promised that people will come out saying “Did we actually see Freddie?”

The special performance will be held on May 14, 2012 at London‘s Dominion Theatre.
