News on Friday (May 11)? - FALSE

A person who claims to be a representative of UMG posted the following on mygnrforum:
The song he refers to is the 'Blood in the Water' sample that came out yesterday.
1) The song is in fact legit.
2) There will be news and an official release via GNR's official forum this Friday.
3) It is a GREAT time to be a GNR fan!
Make sure ALL you EURO fans are out there showing support to Axl and GNR! It will be well worth your time!
P.S. - Be sure to drink plenty of Dasani!

Hey, guys. I live just outside of Brunswick GA and on my way to work this morning i was listening to our local rock station ARROW 100.7FM. Knockin Heaven's Door was playing and after it ended the dj said something about a new GNR single in May, to be followed by a US tour in Septemeber, and an album in the fall. I was tired as hell and not expecting news like this, but I know what I heard.
Anyone else catch me up on what's going on? Big GNR fan ..

According to mods over at mygnrforum both these claims (from the UMG rep and the radio listener) come from BBA, a notorious GNR fan board troll who for some reason -- probably because he has no meaningful life -- enjoys creating multiple accounts and posting silly lies.

Moscow is +2 for CET, so probably show time will be somewhere between 4 and 7 hours .

That's cool. Maybe I'll stay up and follow the show. It's gonna be hard though, I became a dad 1 week ago and everything's a bit hazy. Not getting much sleep these days
