Guns N' Roses soar to number 3 in the Billboard Chart
The rock band were given a boost by a pricing war between Google Play and Amazon.
Guns N' Roses hit the top three of the Billboard Chart this week in a shock rocket up the chart thanks to a price war between Amazon and Google Play.
The band’s greatest hits album soared up the chart after selling over 84,000 copies to become the third highest seller of the week behind Bruce Springsteen and Adele after the album was put on sale for just $0.25.
The album sales come a month before the band are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and it is thought the original line up, including guitarist Slash, will be appearing at the event but as yet it is unknown whether they will actually be performing.
A tweet from event organiser Paul Shaffer earlier today suggested they were going to perform, but he later denied that he had made the post.
