Hard, heavy. And still more hard rock, Tuesday at the Tower Theater in a bill topped by Guns ’N' Roses and also featuring Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Reaction. (Guns, more than the devil, seem to be today’s favorite heavy-metal image.) Guns 'N' Roses, which has a hit album despite minimal radio airplay, makes the Rolling Stones at their grungiest look quite respectable. The music is standard hard rock — which is to say, the Rolling Stones by way of Aerosmith — of not much distinction.

Zodiac Mindwarp is not a whole lot better, but at least it has a sense of humor.
