The last show [supporting Aerosmith] was near L.A., at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Orange County. The place had lawn seating back then and could hold almost 20,000 people. It was sold out. Robert John reminisces: "I think one of the funniest things was during the last show with Aerosmith. They were playing 'Welcome to the Jungle,' and the guys in Aerosmith dressed up in ape costumes. There was a guy dressed like Tarzan, and there was a rope tied to the rafters, and when they started that song, he came swinging down. Then there were apes all over the stage, with bananas. It was great. It was so funny" [Rock Scene, October 1989].

Axl and Slash were invited to jam with Aerosmith on this date, which was the last date of the Aerosmith/GN'R Tour

(and probably Duff too... I am not 100% sure of it but one of the images above seems to indicate that...)

They played "Mama Kin"
