Is too much beer even possible?

For each year the task of obtaining Christmas beer becomes more and more important to me. This year I have bough 24 bottles of Mack juleøl (6.5 %) which will be my regular beer for the Holiday. Then I have 18 bottles of Ringnes Julebokk (9 %) which is heavy and more suited for enjoying later in the evening with some chocolate or cake. I also have 1 bottle of Mack juleporter (unknown alc. content). This is not a beer it is possible to buy, the bacth was produced too late for shipment to the liquour stores but I know a friend of the production manager at the brewery...I also have 3 bottles of Delirium Tremens (8.5 %). Not really a Christmas beer, just a personal favourite. And -- lo and behold! -- 5 bottles of Delirium Christmas (10 %)! Never tasted it before! Very hard to get by. I had to employ some friends in Oslo to buy there and have it shipped up here.

This will be a merry Christmas indeed!

Btw, Ringnes Julebokk is the one you drank a couple of when visiting me last winter.

Oh yeah, I definitely remember that one. Very nice beer!

Gulpener is a local brewery, around 20 kms from Maastricht. I don't think they export anything unfortunately. But I can always save some bottles for you if you come to the Netherlands in the future.
