It struck me that she had a hammer...

I was lying on the couch with my head in my wife's lap, trying to fight a close encounter with a migraine attack that had left me with a painful headache, when my daughter almost hit me in the head with a wooden hammer she was playing with. Luckily my wife reacted fast and grabbed her arm as she was swinging the hammer down towards my head. How charming kids are when they are too young to feel empathy but still old enough to do damage! Unfortunately, she did it again and my wife wasn't quick enough. Luckily she only grazed my head with the hammer but it didn't do any good to my already aching head .

Haha they do go through period when they are dangerous for themselves and the others and good reflexes are much called for I was kicked accidentally in the stomach & other body parts, was walked over not too gently many times while lying, too & I remember clearly when the kiddo bumped his head so heavily into mine that I got a headache. Never being struck on the head with heavy objects though. Guess I was just lucky

But if we talk about ridiculous accidents I remember once being peed in the face during diaper change Lol That was definitely 'more pleasant' then the bump in the head.
