Alice Cooper cancels concert

The American

MIDLAND - The Chaparral Center has announced the cancellation of the Alice Cooper concert scheduled today.

Katherine Seale at Chaparral Center said the concert was cancelled because of a low amount of tickets sold in advance. “People are going to have to learn to buy their tickets in advance,” she said.

The rock ’n’ roll oldtimer was to appear on his “Raise Your Fist and Yell” tour with Guns & Roses and Faster Pussycat.

Tickets, which sold for $13.50, will be refunded at the place of purchase beginning today. Ticket outlets are the Chaparral Center box office; Endless Horizons in Odessa and Midland; and Harold’s Electronics in Odessa and Midland.
