Guns, Roses, but No Slash

Guitarist Slash has left Guns N’ Roses, the band’s label has confirmed. (And, yes, in answer to your question, Guns N’ Roses is actually still together, though they’ve been keeping a low profile. Happily.)

Axl Rose and the remaining band members are looking for a new guitarist to play on their next album, slated for release in summer 1997.

Slash has reportedly quit to work with his own little ensemble, Snakepit.
