Transcript (excerpt):
--------------------------

SCARY MONSTERS: It’s not easy to believe that well-circulated story about an altercation between David Bowie and Axl Rose at Cathouse several weeks ago, after seeing them together last Wednesday at the China Club. The two looked to be the very best of friends, yukking it up one-on-one at an upstairs (not VIP room) table surrounded by Slash, his date, Bowie’s fiancee and others. We enjoyed seeing them, of course . . . almost as much as we would have enjoyed seeing Milli Vanilli.
