Industrial music thread
Industrial is my favourite genre, but I'm still feeling my way through it. So this thread is for people to post their favourite industrial bands, and to check out the bands posted by others!
I'll put down some Ministry and some Godflesh, and I'll chuck in some Nine Inch Nails because Trent is god

I never would have thought it was your favourite genre. I am surprised. I haven't listened to much industrial, although we did play some Ministry on parties, Jesus Built My Hot Rod, and I friend of mine was a groupie to Al Jourgensen.

Oh, when I come to think of it the whole Psalm 69 by Ministry was heavily played on our parties and as theme music for our roleplaying games. Great record!!

Thats crazy! holy shit. any autographs?
And yeah, Industrial is my favourite genre. It's closely followed by that 90's 'grunge' movement, by which I mean mainly Soundgarden and Alice in Chains.

Re: Industrial music thread
NIN have really taken industrial music into places that I would have never expected. Industrial was either heavy dance type music or very violent. NIN have explored so many different avenues and have broadened the genre beyond anyone's expectations.
Other bands worth checking out are Skinny Puppy, Spahn Ranch, Frontline Assembly, Skin Chamber, Laibach, Einsturzende Neubaten, KMFDM

I've checked out a good few of those bands. Now I think of it, I've checked out a good few of those bands because you told me about them! Haha. Lard are good too, but that's basically Ministry.
