Slash is again focusing on his solo career rather than the band he's in

So Scott Weiland was about to rejoin Velvet Revolver but the rumour was shut down by Slash saying how he has no intention of ever playing with him again (or with Corey Taylor or any of the other great singers they have undoubtedly rehearsed). Slash apparently prefers playing with a singer with no personality and uniqueness and who poses no threat to Slash's role as guitar-playing frontman. Well, well, well.

I'm annoyed he sticks with Kennedy. If he would get a decent singer I would look forward to his new album. Now I don't..

I agree, I am not impressed with Myles. No, that's not right. I am impressed because he's got a great voice, it just misses some intangible quality. It doesn't pop as it should. I am actually afraid that's why Slash likes him, no fear of Myles overshadowing Slash. But that's Slash's problem, really. Now I feel sorry for Duff and Matt, if Slash don't want to continue with Velvet Revolver then he should just quit like he's done before. Now he comes across as having VR as his second priority and something he will get back to if all else fails, effectively keeping Matt and Duff in limbo. It's not fair.
